RULES

Last Modified: August 15, 2018

These rules are subject to change at the administrator’s discretion. If rules should change, all captains will be notified accordingly.

The Handbook’s General Rules apply to all AHGL games, please read them first!

I. Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Overview

  1. Player Eligibility: All players participating in Playerunknown's Battlegrounds competitions must have an active PUBG account in good standing with their PUBG name displayed on their Battlefy profile. Only registered team members playing under their own account are allowed to play for a team

  2. Team Roster Size: A team consists of 4-8 participants. Rules for qualifications for rostered members can be found in AHGL general rules.

  3. Registration: The Playerunknown's Battlegrounds registration fee will be $132 per team. The captain pays this fee during registration on Battlefy.

  4. Game Version: All players must have their game up to date with the latest patch. PC only. Other platforms will be allowed if they have crossplay with PC.

  5. Weekly Structure:

    1. Monday: Map assignments for the following weekend are distributed (assuming all previous round match results have been entered) and an ordered list of maps for the next week’s matches is released.

    2. Saturday: All matches are played on Saturday starting at 12pm Pacific (3pm Eastern). The AHGL observes Daylight Savings.

  6. Regular Season: Points are cumulative during the regular season, which will last for approximately 8 weeks. Teams will be evenly separated into groups of up to twenty five (25) teams, sorted in order of their points. The teams with the most points will be placed in the first group, the next most on the second, etc. The first week will be random. Each group will play a single game on their assigned map. A for fun match will be held each week for the first teams eliminated, in which no points will be awarded.

  7. Playoffs and Finals: At the conclusion of the regular season approximately the bottom half to two-thirds of teams will be eliminated, the exact number to be announced by AHGL administrators prior to playoffs. Additionally at this time, points will be reset and groups will be assigned to maps randomly going forward rather than sorted by points. The playoffs will feature two games each week. The finals will feature three games where each game counts for double points. The team with the most cumulative playoff and finals points is the winner.

  8. Tiebreakers: Ties will be resolved by the following rules in order:

    1. Highest average placement of all games in the current stage

    2. Highest placement in a single game

    3. Total number of kills in a squad across all games in the current stage

    4. Highest number of kills in a squad in a single game
